This is a good hotel with a decent breakfast (we booked a room with breakfast). It wasn't an expensive option, and its location is really good. It's very close to the Prato train station, so easy to get tp Florence by train. It is also possible to walk to Prato center as well, the walk is nice and short. The hotel is old fashioned. The rooms are quite small (we booked a room bigger than the minimal one). The equipment is reasonably maintained, everything works - but all looks old, don't expect the modern look. The reception desk is 24/7. People are polite and helpful. The hotel is listed as "Free parking" on Booking and Agoda sites, but it's not that easy to get. We arrived on Saturday evening, and were told that we can park till Monday 8 AM for free on the street, but have to pay for the tickets from 8 AM (parking garage is 10 Eur per night). Only after we complained that the property is listed as "free parking", the reception person guided us to park within the yellow lines in front of the hotel (there was a space there). It doesn't seem appropriate that we need to argue to get the free parking as being advertised. The breakfast is good. Nothing extraordinary, but good and tasty, with multiple options.Overall, the stay was good.
